Job Title: Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Summary: The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to adult patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessments but are not in critical condition. These patients often have complex cardiac, respiratory, or post-surgical needs. The RN in the PCU delivers high-acuity care, interprets clinical data, and responds rapidly to changes in patient condition while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to acutely ill adult patients with complex and often unstable conditions.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, hemodynamic status, and other critical indicators, recognizing and responding to early signs of deterioration.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Perform and document frequent assessments, vital signs, and interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to create and update individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- 2 - Year experience Required,
- EPIC experience Required,
- BLS Certification,
- ACLS Certification,
- NIHSS Certification,
- RN License.

Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
