Job Title: Registered Nurse Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring close observation and continuous monitoring, but who are not critically unstable. These patients may include those recovering from surgery, acute medical events (such as heart failure or stroke), or those transitioning out of the ICU. The IMC RN utilizes advanced assessment, clinical reasoning, and technical skills to manage complex patient care and respond to changes in patient condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions for moderately complex patients.
- Monitor patients on telemetry and respond to arrhythmias or changes in cardiac rhythm appropriately.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and titratable drips per hospital policy (e.g., heparin, insulin, antiarrhythmics).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and support staff, to deliver coordinated care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, care plans, and discharge education.
Requirements:
- 2 - Year experience Required,
- Epic experience Required,
- BLS Certification,
- ACLS Certification,
- NIHSS Certification Preferred,
- RN License.

Pay: $42.00 - $46.00 per hour
