What are the responsibilities and job description for the French Teacher position at Regis Jesuit High School?
Regis Jesuit is seeking a French Teacher to begin the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be placed on the Faculty Salary Scale, based on education level and years of experience (minimum starting salary for BA, Tier 1 is $55,000). We give 1:1 credit for the first ten years of teaching and 1:2 for years over ten, with no maximum until Tier 30. Full benefits are available. Expectations Include:
- Ability to teach all levels; Honors and AP helpful
- A bachelor’s degree in the subject area(s); MA preferred
- Working collaboratively with all members of the Classical and Modern Langagues Department and serving as a contributing member on course level teams
- Participation in all departmental and school-wide faculty formation
- Modeling for students and the entire school community the characteristics of an Ignatian educator.
- Ability to communicate clearly and consistently with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Creating an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
- Teaching 5 of 7 classes on the Block Schedule.
- Attending assemblies, prayer services, masses, service opportunities.
- Modeling Christian values and contributing to forming student values.
