Regina Catholic Education Center, an exceptional Pre-K to 12th grade school in Iowa City, seeks a Preschool Assistant Teacher.
This person must be available to work the 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. shift.

As an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Regina, you will:
- Ignite a love of learning: Support Lead Teachers in executing engaging lessons, utilize technology effectively, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs.

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to lean and grow.
- Fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Utilizing effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Assisting other teachers and staff members with activities and events.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young students in an early childhood education setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to facilitate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall child development.
- Familiarity with DHS regulations and child safety guidelines.
- Ability to educate and inspire young children through creative teaching methods.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
- Experience working with Creative Curriculum is a plus.
