Job Description:
At Regions, the Wealth Management Middle Office Supervisor supervises an area within trust operations in which associates provide administrative and operational support within Wealth Management Middle Office in accordance with established systems and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Trains, guides and leads a trust operations team within Wealth Management Middle Office
Assigns work to staff and determines workflow
Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions and terminations
Ensures staff is properly trained and adheres to policy and procedures
Minimizes errors by developing effective controls, procedures and checklists to guarantee that processing standards are met
Serves as an expert within their area of expertise and acts as the primary contact regarding operational questions, issues, or concerns
Identifies, designs, and implements process improvements to increase department efficiency
Participates in special projects as assigned by manager and/or operations officers
May serve on assigned committees
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED with six (6) years of experience in banking/trust industry
Or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with two (2) years of experience in banking/trust industry
One (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience
Preferences
Bachelor’s degree
Four (4) years of trust operations experience
Experience managing a team
Skills and Competencies
Ability to lead individuals and teams to complete priorities and deadlines timely
Excellent communication skills and able to work with internal and external customers
Knowledgeable in assigned trust operations area(s)
Proven leadership and judgment skills
Skilled in applicable computer software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $70,770.15 USD
Median: $95,100.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This job may participate in an annual discretionary bonus plan.
