Foundation Event Coordinator
The Foundation Event Coordinator supports the mission of Regional West Foundation by coordinating fundraising events, managing administrative and financial processes, while supporting Foundation Board activities. This role works closely with the Director of the Foundation and represents the Foundation internally and within the community to ensure positive engagement, visibility, and support.
Qualifications
Education

Associate degree in a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
OR - Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience in nonprofit, foundation, office administration, event coordination, or related work
- Experience supporting boards, committees, or leadership meetings
- Basic accounting and budget tracking experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with databases or donor‑tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Licensure
- Valid driver’s license required
Key Responsibilities
Foundation & Event Coordination
- Coordinate and participate in Foundation events, meetings, and fundraising activities
- Assist with planning, implementation, and management of donor and employee engagement events
- Prepare materials for campaigns, presentations, and Foundation events
- Work with vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners
- Track event expenses and assist with fundraiser budgeting
Board & Administrative Support
- Coordinate Foundation Board meetings, including preparation of materials and meeting minutes
- Assist with scholarship correspondence and donor recognition
- Prepare written communications, reports, and presentations
- Maintain organized and accurate Foundation records
Financial & Database Management
- Manage daily income, deposits, expenditures, and monthly financial reports
- Maintain donor database and ensure accurate data entry
- Assist with annual budgeting and expense tracking
- Utilize spreadsheets and donor‑tracking systems
Community & Organizational Engagement
- Represent the Foundation at community events and organizational meetings
- Collaborate with internal departments to support Foundation initiatives
- Promote a positive image of Regional West Health Services
