As a Certified Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses, you will:
- Assist with medical procedures and perform general duties for the provider according to current policies and procedures
- Ensure patient confidentiality
- Work in collaboration with the provider to coordinate the flow of patients through the clinic
You may be a good fit if you have:
- A Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Flexibility in adjusting to variable workload and job duties
- Strong understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Experience working in a cardiac care unit or heart center.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s cardiovascular condition.
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to support heart health.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, escalating concerns to appropriate medical staff as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols.
