About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to support our financial operations and ensure accuracy across accounting processes. This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in cost accounting and financial accounting
- Proficiency in accounting systems and software
- Experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger management
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent certification.
- Experience with financial audits and audit preparation.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a corporate finance or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations
- Assist with audits and respond to audit inquiries
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Identify process improvements and support financial controls
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights
