Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours may vary based on the delivery schedule and business needs.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable CDL Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a Class A or Class B CDL. The driver will be responsible for customer deliveries, loading and unloading, inventory handling, vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
This position involves regular customer interaction and requires a strong focus on safety, reliability, communication, and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and safely transport goods and cargo to designated destinations.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
- Notify management when preventative maintenance or vehicle repairs are needed.
- Track and accurately report working hours and maintain driver logs when required.
- Ensure all required shipping, delivery, and billing documentation is complete and accurate.
- Make deliveries within assigned timelines and verify receipt of delivery according to company procedures.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or road-related issues and follow established accident procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and other warehouse/delivery-related duties as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, DOT requirements, and applicable transportation regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with no major infractions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles.
- Ability to lift and handle 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal communication and customer-service skills.
- Good attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

- Airbrakes experience
- Flatbed experience
- Donkey and Piggyback experience
- Experience with manual and automatic transmissions
- Computer skills, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel
- Previous supervisory experience
- Customer delivery or route-driving experience
Hazmat Endorsement
A Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain the endorsement while on assignment.
