Position Overview
Regional Services Consulting (RSC) is hiring an Assistant Security Site Manager to support site-level operations and leadership. This role partners closely with the Security Site Manager and administrative team to help maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment for clients, staff, and guests.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can assist in managing daily operations, guide security personnel, and ensure all policies, procedures, and contractual expectations are upheld. This position requires strong decision-making skills and the ability to stay composed in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and enforcement of company policies and security procedures
- Assist with daily oversight of site operations, including staffing and scheduling
- Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise security personnel
- Verify all team members meet licensing, training, and compliance requirements
- Participate in operational meetings and contribute to site planning and improvements
- Coordinate staffing coverage for routine operations and special events
- Respond to and assist in managing incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Prepare and review incident reports and operational documentation
- Help investigate issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Monitor performance standards and ensure contract compliance
- Maintain a professional presence while addressing client needs and concerns
- Provide updates and reporting to leadership and client representatives
- Promote accountability, professionalism, and teamwork across the site
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a security leadership role (supervisor, lead, or assistant manager)
- Working knowledge of security operations and emergency response procedures
- Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV and access control
- Ability to review reports, track data, and support operational planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with timekeeping systems (QuickBooks Time preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and integrity
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while completing administrative duties
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts or events
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds when needed
- Capable of patrolling and navigating various areas of the property
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Additional training or education in security or a related field is a plus
