RSU 24 is seeking an exemplary Grade 2 elementary level classroom teacher to be part of our Ella Lewis School for the 2026-2027 school year. Ella Lewis is in the small coastal town of Steuben and takes pride in their strong school culture and community support. Candidates should have a strong background in both literacy and mathematics. The successful candidate will enjoy working with a team, use data to inform instruction, and have strong communication and classroom management skills. The successful candidate will hold or be able to hold a Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification #020 General K-8 or 029 (K-3) Endorsement. Must hold a current MDOE Criminal History Records Check. Pay is based upon experience and level of education.
