POSITION TYPE AND STATUS:
Long-term Substitute French & Spanish Teacher
- From the start of the school year until approximately Thanksgiving break.
Located a mile from the Atlantic Ocean and 15 minutes from Portland, RSU 23 is a 700 student, three-school district seeking a Long Term Substitute World Language Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate should possess the following:
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Citizenship, residency or work visa
- Maine Department of Education CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting
- Maintains or is eligible for Maine Department of Education Teaching Certificate
- Maine DOE Authorization certification
QUALIFICATIONS / JOB SUMMARY:
- Must have the ability to teach both French & Spanish
SALARY RANGE: $261.77 - $298.76/per day
