What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services - Manager position at Regional One Health?
Summary:
Oversees and coordinates the daily operations and work functions in Guest Services related to patients, visitors and staff including, but not limited to, staff scheduling, telephone/PBX services, visitors and guests access and accommodations, assisting the general public and coordinating and leading performance improvement initiatives. Works collaboratively with hospital staff to coordinate and integrate activities in a timely and efficient manner while promoting positive guest relations and assisting in fostering and maintaining a patient-centered and guest-friendly environment. Responds to customer/hospital needs to strengthen and maintain positive guest/patient perceptions of the organization. This position is responsible to work closely and collaboratively with the Language Services Leader to ensure that areas within the Department are appropriately staffed and that staff members are all cross-trained.
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Health Care Administration, Public Relations or Communications is required.
Experience Requirement:
Three-Four (3-4) years of progressive customer service experience is required. One (1) year supervisory experience and/or work in the healthcare or hospitality industry preferred.
