SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with operationalizing the Adult Education program for the Regional Office of Education #33.
This role supports the implementation of the Regional Office of Education #33 adult education programs by aligning strategy, operations, and partnerships across the region. The role oversees program delivery, staff coordination, student services, curriculum, and compliance while maintaining strong relationships with community partners and state agencies. It also contributes to marketing, recruitment, grant funding, budgeting, and data analysis to ensure program growth and effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & CRITICAL SKILLS
- Master’s Degree or Higher in Adult Education with leadership position or related field.
- Administrative experience required, PEL with Principal endorsement preferred.
- Working knowledge of budgets.
- Ability to communicate to students and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to work with teachers,
education support personnel, building administrators and the general public.
- Extensive knowledge of Federal and State Reporting and Grant Management.
- Experience managing and the supervision of personnel.
- Enforce ROE regulations and policies in a professional manner.
- Understanding and awareness of multicultural needs
- Ability to maintain a positive and collaborative relationship/attitude across all ROE programs.
- Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc. and Virtual Meeting Platforms.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull up to 10 lbs.
SCHEDULING
The work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with regular evening hours during the school year, 7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week. The schedule is subject to change with ROE demands. This position is scheduled to follow the ROE #33 200 Day Calendar.
