Regional Logistics Group is a locally owned and operated logistics firm seeking CDL drivers due to a combination of fleet expansion and retirements, we currently have 4 openings. Must reside within 40 miles of our terminal
Drivers have regular schedules and new equipment; details are as follows
One night layover / 3 trips per week / 400 mile radius of Buffalo NY / Front hauls & back-hauls set prior to departure / All trips depart & return to Buffalo / All palletized dry (no touch) freight / Majority of loads are full truckload / 2023 or 2024 Sleepers, 450 HP, 12 speed automatic / 53 ft dry freight vans, swing door / There is an assigned tractors for each driver / earnings can range between $75K - $85K annually / Competitive Mileage pay, plus per diem, & detention pay / Sign on bonus / Health Care, dental, paid time off, holiday pay (off on all major holidays)
Nice work life balance. Average weekly run 2300 to 2500 miles over 3 trips.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in the Northeast Region while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Duties:
- Safely operate tractor trailers in the Northeast Region
- NO TOUCH DELIVERIES AND PICK UP
- Average weekly run 2400 miles
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as DOT compliance
Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in route driving and delivery operations.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
