Job Summary
Volunteer Coordinator
Regional Hospice Services is seeking a compassionate individual to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team that works to support the needs of Hospice patients and their families. You will manage the volunteer coordination for our Ashland team, and assist with community outreach. The Volunteer Coordinator meets with patients to assess for needs. and manages volunteer support with our pool of dedicated volunteers. Responsibilities also include training of volunteers, arranging Veteran Honors visits, and coordinating Catch A Dream activities for our patients.
Experience in Hospice or other health care preferred. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. The ideal candidate will have active knowledge and association with Ashland and area communities. Position is flexible, and approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. Able to work independently. Regional travel required.
