What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian- Second Shift position at REGIONAL DISTRICT 11?
Parish Hill Middle/High School has an immediate opening for a Custodian for the second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The successful applicant must be able to operate floor strippers, burnishers, wax machines, and carpet shampooers. Responsibilities will include sweeping and mopping of all floors as well as vacuuming carpeted areas, removing garbage and recycling from all classrooms and offices, cleaning counters and sinks, weather related cleaning (including but not limited to shoveling sidewalks and applying sand and ice melt when necessary),and other tasks as determined by the head custodian and/or Principal He/she must be able to move cafeteria tables for after-school functions and events and set up for Board of Education meetings. This is a 12-month position in the relevant employee bargaining unit with a competitive wage offering and a comprehensive benefit package. The Custodian should be able to work during the daytime hours during vacation and holiday periods.
