Regional Behavioral Consultants (RBC) is growing—and we’re looking for a mission-driven Licensed Behavior Consultant to support clients at Saegertown Elementary School.

This role is primarily school-based, providing behavioral consultation and support within school setting and group therapy environments. Consultants will work closely with teachers, school teams, and behavior support staff to implement effective behavior strategies that help clients succeed academically and socially.

In addition to school services, consultants will also provide field-based ABA consultation and parent/caregiver training to support skill development and generalization across environments.

This is a year-round position and is not limited to the academic school year.

What You’ll Do

As a Behavior Consultant-ABA, you will provide clinical leadership across school and home settings for children with autism and developmental needs under the Intensive Behavioral Health Services regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments (FBA, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, etc.)
  • Deliver face-to-face supervision to RBTs, BHTs, and assistant consultants
  • Write progress reports and adjust treatment plans based on data
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and ensure high-quality ethical practice
  • Train caregivers, educators, and staff in ABA strategies
  • Lead team meetings and case conferences
  • Participate in IEP/IFSP/transition planning
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, EI teams, and families
  • Maintain open communication with all stakeholders
  • Support interdisciplinary care alongside other clinicians

Home & Community Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Provide caregiver training and coaching
  • Conduct home visits to support skill generalization
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and update treatment plans based on data

Collaboration & Training

  • Train caregivers, educators, and staff in ABA strategies
  • Lead team meetings and case consultations
  • Collaborate with school psychologists, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain open communication with families and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral or human services field
  • PA Behavior Specialist License

Preferred

  • 1 year ABA or behavioral consultation experience
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing behavior support plans
  • Experience collaborating with schools, educators, or classroom teams
  • Familiarity with DTT, NET, VB, PRT, or other ABA methodologies

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and crouch frequently
  • Speak clearly and hear effectively in both quiet and noisy school environments
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 21 pounds
  • Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity
