What are the responsibilities and job description for the TMS Technician — Training Provided position at Regional Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates?
We are seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused TMS Technician to join our clinical team. The technician will administer portable transcranial magnetic stimulation treatments under provider direction, prepare and position patients, operate the equipment, monitor patient comfort, document each session, clean equipment, and communicate concerns to the supervising provider.
Previous TMS experience is not required. Equipment-specific training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and treatment equipment.
- Position the patient and coil according to protocol.
- Operate the portable TMS system under provider supervision.
- Monitor patient comfort and report concerns.
- Document treatments accurately.
- Clean equipment and treatment areas.
- Assist with scheduling and appointment coordination.
- Follow privacy, safety, and clinic procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Comfortable learning medical equipment and software.
- Professional, compassionate communication skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to complete required training.
Physical requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, position lightweight equipment accurately, and move portable equipment cases when needed.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
