Region Lights LLC is seeking motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Lighting Installers to join our growing team as Independent Contractors. This role involves installing permanent exterior lighting systems and seasonal holiday lighting on residential and commercial properties throughout Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas.

Installers will work on ladders, rooftops, and exterior structures while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship, professionalism, and safety. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, problem-solving, and working outdoors in a fast-paced team environment.

This position offers flexible scheduling and competitive project-based pay with opportunities for consistent seasonal and year-round work.

Responsibilities

• Install permanent exterior LED lighting systems on residential and commercial properties.
• Install and remove seasonal holiday lighting, including rooflines, trees, landscaping, and custom displays.
• Safely work on ladders, rooftops, and elevated surfaces while following all safety protocols.
• Measure rooflines and property layouts accurately for lighting installation.
• Mount tracks, channels, clips, wiring, and lighting components securely and professionally.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot wiring, lighting connections, controllers, and basic low-voltage electrical issues.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and ensure customer property is respected and protected.
• Transport and organize installation materials, ladders, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Ensure all installations meet Region Lights quality standards and customer expectations.
• Take before-and-after photos of completed projects when requested.
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, roofing, lighting installation, landscaping, exterior services, or skilled labor preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders/roofs.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to lift and carry ladders, tools, and materials regularly.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Weekend and evening availability during peak seasons is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
