What are the responsibilities and job description for the CTE Paraprofessional position at Region 8 ESC?
Perform and assume clerical/secretarial tasks under general guidance of professional personnel including preparation of correspondence, reports and requisitions
Perform general clerical duties:
Work closely with campus secretaries, teachers, supervisors, and administrators.
Maintain a department calendar
Input travel requests
Verify and check travel reports for accuracy and funding
Maintain records and reconciliation of all budget accounts of the CTE department
Submit/Maintain purchasing and receiving actions for the CTE department
Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree or 2 yrs. college preferred
Experience Required:
General office experience;
One to three years secretarial experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
Strong written and verbal communication abilities; Computer and clerical skills; Accuracy is imperative
Physical/Mental Demands:
Maintain control under stress and meet deadlines
