What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer School Coordinator/Student Mentor position at Region 14 School District?
- Add students to the online program (Edmentum)
- Assign courses to students and customize the courses to meet students' academic needs
- Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
- Take attendance daily and contact parents/guardians of absent students
- Facilitate student progress through various courses on Edmentum
- Utilize Edmentum's student progress reports and session logs to counsel and encourage students, helping them set goals for timely course completion.
- Review and score student work, as needed, utilizing Edmentum's rubrics and scoring system.
- Help students contact Edmentum if there are any technical issues.
- Submit final grades reports to the Director of Guidance.
- A quick learner with new online programs is essential
- CT Certification in any subject area
