Volunteer & Program Coordinator (Senior Companion Program)

At Region 10, we believe strong communities are built through connection, service, and collaboration. We're seeking an experienced and community-focused professional to lead our AmeriCorps Seniors Senior Companion Program and help expand opportunities for older adults to serve, connect, and support one another throughout the region.
As the Senior Companion Program Coordinator, you'll play a key leadership role in recruiting volunteers, cultivating community partnerships, coordinating client services, ensuring program compliance, and measuring community impact.
What You'll Do
✅ Lead volunteer recruitment, training, retention, and recognition efforts.
✅ Build relationships with community partners and referral agencies.
✅ Coordinate client assessments and volunteer-client matches.
✅ Manage reporting, compliance, and grant requirements.
✅ Represent the program at community meetings, events, and outreach activities.
✅ Track outcomes and communicate program impact to stakeholders.
About You
You are someone who:
- Enjoys building relationships and connecting people to meaningful opportunities.
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Communicates effectively with volunteers, clients, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Has experience in nonprofit, aging services, human services, volunteer management, or community engagement.
- Is comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.
