Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication administration as per care plans and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client requirements, ensuring personalized support.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient monitoring and care.
Requirements
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- CNA OR HHA CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
- PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
- CEUs (Continuing Education Units)
