Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take dine-in, takeout, pickup, and phone orders accurately.
- Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other approved payments.
- Answer basic questions about pizza, menu items, pricing, and available options.
- Confirm order details and communicate special requests clearly with kitchen staff.
- Provide receipts and assist with routine checkout requests.
- Organize completed orders for pickup, takeout, or dine-in service.
- Keep the register, counter, and customer-service areas clean and organized.
- Restock bags, boxes, containers, napkins, utensils, and other service supplies.
- Assist kitchen and counter team members during busy service periods.
- Support opening, closing, and other daily pizzeria responsibilities.
- Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
- Communicate customer concerns or order issues to the appropriate team member.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, pizzeria, restaurant, café, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to customers.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Comfortable learning POS and payment procedures.
