What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations & Communications Coordinator — Center for Global Justice position at Regent University?
Regent University School of Law | Part-Time, 20 hrs/week | 12-month position
About The Center
The Center for Global Justice (CGJ) at Regent University School of Law advances human rights through legal advocacy, education, and research. CGJ programs include Virginia's only pro bono Human Trafficking Legal Clinic, international and domestic internship programs, student staff initiatives, legislative engagement, and strategic partnerships with organizations worldwide.
Position Overview
The CGJ is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven individual to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Center and its Human Trafficking Legal Clinic. This role is the operational backbone of the CGJ — keeping events running, communications flowing, and logistics organized so that the legal and programmatic team can focus on casework and advocacy.
This is an on-campus position based in the Regent University School of Law building. The coordinator works alongside law students, faculty, and staff, and participates in the broader life of the law school community, including weekly Law Chapel on Thursdays. There are occasional opportunities to participate in clinic-related activities such as legislative advocacy in Richmond or attending court hearings — offering a front-row seat to the real-world impact of CGJ's work.

More about the Center: For a deeper dive, Director Kelsey recently presented on "The Church and the Academy in the Mission of God" March 23, 2026
" The Center for Global Justice (CGJ) at Regent University School of Law was founded on the call of Proverbs 31:8–9 — to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and defend the rights of the poor and needy. Rooted in the conviction that the academy is not separate from the Church's mission but one of its key instruments, the CGJ exists at the threshold: academically rigorous, but unwilling to remain above the fray."
