Position Overview:
A Driver will safely operate Non CDl 26’ Truck to deliver and pick up linen/textiles to customers.. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Regent Hospitality Linen may identify other responsibilities of the position.
Essential Duties:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection
Responsible for cleanliness of vehicle
Deliver and pick up linen for customers in a timely manner
Load and unload product at each facility
Take inventories at the facilities in the linen rooms
Maintain quality customer service and interaction with customers
Ensure Manifests are signed
Fuel vehicle and maintain the receipts for accurate accounting
Ensure that all receipts are turned in to the Regent Hospitality Administrative Office
Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner
Participates in regular safety meeting, safety training and hazard assessments
Maintain a clean driving record
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience/Knowledge:
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Points: 2.0 or less on Driver’s license
Skills/Aptitude:

Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.

Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move 1000 pounds.
Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold.
Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
