Excellent pay up to $18.00 an hour based upon experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
High School Diploma or GED
Certification in CPR
Defensive Driving
4 years of driving experience required.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to read, write and speak English.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain defensive driving training.
- Provide a communication link between customers and staff
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, patient transportation forms, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, and other records that are requested from leadership.
- Provide continuous communication between patient and the health center staff. Report any change in schedule including any patient cancellations.
- Read and interpret maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient route service for patients,
- Ensure patient is properly identified before transporting.
- Assist passengers, including handicapped, in and out of the vehicle; operates ramp and lift, escort to health center lobby, and open doors for them as needed.
- Performs daily vehicle checks and maintains van ensuring that it is mechanically safe.
- Fuel the assigned vehicle adequately.
- Works flexible shifts as work dictates.
