Overview:
ReGenesis Health Care is a growing not for profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee all Clinical Support staff of our medical practices located in Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties. This includes the provision of quality services to patients, promotion of teamwork among clinical support staff, compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, and operating within the approved budget. You will monitor patient access and capacity, staff performance, and patient and staff satisfaction.

- BSN degree required
- Master's level training in Health Administration or Business strongly preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of group practice, clinic, or community health management experience.
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Care facility preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage others.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will direct oversight/supervision of nurses, medical assistants, and other assigned staff, ensuring that professional standards and high-quality patient care are always maintained.
- You will ensure that the clinical staff understand and adhere to all written policies and procedures of ReGenesis Health Care to ensure quality care at the highest level of evidence-based practice.
- You will conduct chart audits for quality purposes to ensure proper accuracy and thorough documentation.
- You will participate in recruiting and retaining nurses and medical assistants: interviews, orientations, trainings, in-services, etc.
- You will evaluate and educate clinical staff in relation to job performance, competencies, and policies and procedures; Communicate deviations in safe and effective practice.
- You will serve as a mentor and promote teamwork, acting as a role model to clinical staff members by creating an environment that empowers contribution.
- You will serve as a point of contact for the mediation of patient complaints.
- You will ensure that patient care, clinical, operational, and staffing standards are met.
- You will report to the Director of Medical Support.
- You will regularly review productivity, make staffing and/or scheduling adjustments as needed.
- You will serve as a member of the Leadership Team.
- You will conduct regular staff meetings and annual performance evaluations for the team to ensure continuity.
- You must maintain compliance to HIPAA and Confidentiality standards in this role.
