R25197 - Temp Scientist
Pay Rate: $50 - $60/hour
The Obesity, Muscle and Metabolism (OMM) group at Regeneron is committed to discovering novel targets and innovative medicines to treat diabetes, dyslipidemia and obesity. We are looking for a motivated Scientist who will contribute to an in vitro group focused on implementing new technology platforms and providing molecular biology expertise for the department.
As a Scientist in Muscle and Metabolism, a typical day may include the following:
· Application of molecular biology and cell biology expertise towards the implementation of novel enabling technologies
· Developing and validating cell-based and biochemical assays
· Providing molecular and cellular biology support to team members, when needed
· Performing common procedures such as cell culture, flow cytometry, and expression/affinity purification of recombinant proteins
This role could be for you if:

· You are a critical thinker, enjoy a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with challenging projects.
· You are proficient with commonly used software applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, GraphPad Prism, DNA analysis software)
· You possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
To be considered for this position, you must have MS with 6-8 years OR BS with 8-10 years of full-time relevant experience. A strong background in molecular and cellular biology with expertise in assay development is preferred.
