When & Where
- Location: On-site in Tarrytown, NY
- Work model/flexibility: Onsite, full-time
- Partner closely with scientists, engineers, and analysts to understand purification development workflows and identify high-impact opportunities to improve data flows
- Aggregate, clean, and structure complex datasets to enable scalable, repeatable analyses and visualizations
- Design, develop, and apply statistical and modeling techniques to drive data-informed decision-making and accelerate daily operations
- Deploy data pipelining and aggregation tools that help engineers easily find the data they need and derive insights
- Maintain communication with Purification and IT stakeholders to evaluate solutions
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers across PMPD to improve best practices and teach citizen developers
- Enhance, maintain, and extend existing analytics tools and platforms to support new use cases and evolving business needs
- Contribute as an active member of Agile teams within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), supporting planning, delivery, and continuous improvement
- Analytical rigor and creative problem-solving skills

- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 0-3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in bioprocess development, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or a closely related domain
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop data tools to solve complex, real-world problems
- Programming skills in Python and SQL, with an understanding of data modeling and database design
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and using Git for version control and collaboration
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to partner effectively with scientists, engineers, and analysts while mentoring citizen data scientists
