We are seeking a Director Global Procurement-IT to join our Global Procurement team, supporting our IT business area. In this role, you will be accountable for leading, defining, and implementing Procurement and Sourcing best practices across the IT Procurement Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs. In this role you will works closely with stakeholders to lead discussions related to the IT Software, Infra and IT services sub- categories and align category priorities with Procurement management. The size and scope of the IT Category spend to support covers approximately $688M of spend, spanning across 3 main sub-categories. - Location: Sleepy Hollow, New York, United States
- Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
- Leads negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the IT Category as assigned.
- Works independently to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
- Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements
- Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
- Provides coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports (if applicable) and provides leadership examples for the organization.
- Director: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study with 12 years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma
- Experience successfully leading global IT categories teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
- Demonstrates success leading cross-functional teams to drive results in Global IT categories or related IT sub-categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
- Provides expert insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.
- Acts as the primary relationship manager to the supplier's global leadership team.
- Ability to leverage standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to build influential relationships with IT/ Technology specific stakeholders and suppliers to drive results for Regeneron.
