Position Summary
ROSM is seeking an experienced and highly organized Front Office Medical Assistant to join our Annapolis location. This role performs a combination of administrative and clinical duties in a fast-paced, highly organized clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will serve as an approachable, front-line ambassador for patient care and must consistently present as polished, dependable, and compassionate. Strong attention to detail is essential.
Compensation
Salary Range: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, certifications, skills, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for additional benefits in accordance with ROSM policies.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Greet patients upon arrival and ensure a welcoming, professional experience
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly and courteously
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Update, maintain, and file patient medical records in accordance with ROSM standards
Clinical Duties
- Take and document patient medical histories
- Record patient vital signs
- Prepare patients for examination
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical testing
- Process prescriptions for transmission

Requirements & Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare practice
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred
- Degree in Medical field
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Inventory management experience
