Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and pain management experience.
- Provide professional skincare services as an esthetician, including facials, skin analysis, and other facial treatments tailored to client skin types and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, explain treatment procedures, and offer personalized recommendations for ongoing wellness routines.
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with medical terminology standards and privacy regulations.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to CPR guidelines and maintaining sanitation standards throughout all treatments.
- Stay updated on industry trends such as med spa innovations and occupational health practices to continually enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist and Esthetician with relevant state certifications.
- Proven experience in massage therapy including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working in med spas or similar wellness environments is preferred.
- CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all treatments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage occupational health considerations while providing high-quality care.
