Housekeeper/Groundskeeper – Full-time

We are now hiring a new full-time Housekeeper/Groundskeeper for our Regency Club Apartments in Evansville, IN. You would perform basic groundskeeping and landscape maintenance duties as well as have responsibility for keeping the property clean inside and out. Standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with overtime as needed.
Starting Pay Range: $15 to $17/hour depending on experience.
Housekeeping duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining property interiors to the highest level of detail
- Cleaning property offices, amenities, and common areas including flooring, windows, kitchens, and bathrooms
- Ensuring common areas are stocked with necessary supplies
- Cleaning vacant and model apartments
- Placing orders and keeping inventory of cleaning supplies
Groundskeeping duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a positive curb appeal at our property
- Removing weeds and maintaining flower and mulch beds
- Cleaning parking areas, sidewalks, and common areas
- Participating in snow removal, as needed
Qualifications
- A valid drivers’ license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
- Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions from co-workers, vendors, residents, and the general public
- Demonstrate a professional work ethic in every aspect of the job
Physical Activities Commonly Associated with Job Functions
- Medium to heavy prolonged or repeated work standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and supplies normally used in housekeeping and landscaping
- Ability to use a ladder
- Ability to work inside and outside work in all types of weather
