YOUR SCHEDULE
This full-time position runs Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM, with occasional overtime available. You'll also need to be available for after-hours emergency response as needed.
YOUR DAY
As our Residential Maintenance Technician, your day will start at home as you dispatch to job sites across the service area. You'll handle everything from apartment turnovers (including painting and repairs) to responding to maintenance requests from residents and property managers. You'll ensure safety standards are met, maintain a clean workspace, and document your work promptly. Whether you're fixing a plumbing issue or replacing a light fixture, you'll play a crucial role in creating comfortable, functional living spaces for our residents.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of residential maintenance experience or proven repair skills
- Own and maintain tools
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation capable of carrying tools
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, painting, drywall
- Cell phone and other technology to communicate with the team and maintain reports
- Highly motivated, efficient, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and strong verbal/written communication abilities
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. and safely operate manual/power tools
- Ability to use a vacuum cleaner and other janitorial equipment and safely handle chemicals
Minimum two years of experience as a residential maintenance technician or proven ability to repair residential items, with experience in flooring installation and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.
