Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with diverse needs
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
- Respect and uphold the rights of individuals in your care
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and hospice care providers, to ensure comprehensive care
Skills:
- CNA certification
- Experience in patient care or senior care is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- First aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- MUST have Valid Chaffeur driver's license - Class E
