Regency is seeking a Senior Wealth Manager to join our growing team. This role focuses on assisting private clients with investments, financial planning and preparing for retirement. The position reports to Chief Executive Officer.
We advocate for clients by proactively guiding them through all aspects of their financial lives. The firm provides comprehensive, holistic financial planning and investment advisory services for individuals, families, business owners, non-profit and institutional clients. We assist clients in articulating meaningful goals and attaining those goals through actions and strategies consistent with their specified values.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a values-driven Senior Wealth Manager to anchor our private client relationships and leverage their industry knowledge, and who craves independence and flexibility. As a Senior Wealth Manager for Regency, you’ll contribute to significant growth for the firm by evangelizing the Regency brand and providing white glove service to our clients, while having the support of a team of experts behind you. Our Senior Wealth Managers are long-term associates with a path to ownership in the firm.
The Senior Wealth Manager has an entrepreneurial spirit and wants to apply their talents in a client fiduciary fee-only environment. They have a passion for explaining complex personal financial matters in a way that makes sense to anyone. This role is responsible for business development, as well as servicing clients. The Senior Wealth Manager plays a lead advisory role with a financial planning focus, and operates in a team-based environment, where everyone is rewarded based on the success of the firm.
What You Bring:
• B.A. or B.S. degree from accredited four-year university; finance or business major preferred
• MBA preferred
• CPA or CFP® designation required
• 5 years serving as advisor/consultant for high-net-worth clients in a financial environment
• Commitment to acting in the clients’ best interests in a fee-only financial planning environment
• Belief in academically based investment philosophy
• Respect for the confidentiality of client and corporate information
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience providing comprehensive financial planning advice
• An understanding of the fundamentals of investing and types of investment accounts.
• Self-motivated to complete responsibilities without supervision
• Valid California Driver’s License (required for client travel/meetings)
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing team members or complex projects
• Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Regulatory and Compliance Requirements
As a California Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm, Regency strictly adheres to all federal and state employment and financial regulations.
• The expected annual base salary range for this position is: $140,000 to $170,000.

Working Conditions: This role typically functions indoors in an office environment but requires travel to client offices and other work-related locations.
Physical Demands (ADA/FEHA): While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands for clerical duties/keyboarding, and occasionally reach, stoop, and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Acute hearing is necessary for effective telephone/in-person communication, and visual acuity is required to read screens/documents.
