Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate *PER DIEM* Field Nurse for CAMARILLO, CA area to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide nursing care in home and community settings, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
- Assist with family planning services, offering education and support as needed.
- Perform critical care transport for patients requiring immediate medical attention.
- Administer treatments, including dermal fillers and dialysis, as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up services.
- Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks and other electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in home community care settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of infection control practices to safeguard patient health.
- Familiarity with internal medicine principles is a plus.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as required.
