- Partner with a Passionate Culinary Director/Executive Chef -
As the Sous Chef-Assistant Dietary Manager, you will partner with the Director of Dining Services to set the culinary and sanitation standards for the department, while sharing in the responsibility and oversight that all safety and sanitation standards are met at all times. Working in collaboration with the Director of Dining Services, the Sous Chef will assist in managing the daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staffing, aiding with menu preparation, food preparation/production, and ensuring food quality and freshness. Position will include: cooking, ordering, scheduling, supervision of dietary staff, meeting regulatory requirements, meeting with residents, etc.

You will:
- Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe
- Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
- Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
- Comply with state sanitation codes
- Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
- Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed
You Currently:
- Can obtain Food Handler's card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience
- Read, write, speak and understand English

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
