Dining Room Coordinator – Reports to the Executive Chef/Director of Dining Services. This person is well-versed in the service of an upscale dining facility and is capable of creating systems that provide 5-Star service to our residents and their guest. This person will oversee the interview and hiring processes for servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders. They also oversee, direct, and actively participate in the training of personnel in these positions and the day-to-day function of the server, busser, and bartenders. Additionally, the dining room manager supervises the cleanliness and upkeep of the dining room and resident contact areas, and server service areas. The dining room manager is responsible for scheduling and ensuring that each shift is adequately staffed to ensure the service provided for our residents, staff, and guests is met with the highest standards that our residents deserve.:

Duties Responsibilities:
- Manages - all areas of the dining room in conjunction with the goals and vision of the Director of Dining and the Executive Director of Regency-Hualalai.
- Greets an environment of care and giving that encourages conversation about our guest experiences and what can be improved to create a dining experience that is of the standards as set by the executive staff of Regency-Hualalai.
- Monitor, Coach, and Discipline when necessary to ensure adherence to the policies of Regency-Hualalai and those of Regency-Pacific.
- Ensures that the team has everything they need to give the service expected and if there is a lack of these items they are communicated to the Director of Dining efficiently and timely.
- Implement dynamic operational working procedures, to support the delivery of service excellence.
- Develop strong communication and line reporting procedures to guide service implementation making improvements or changes where required.
- Implement safe working practices to ensure the safety of building occupiers and visitors.
- Work with the director of dining in following and reporting on the financial status of the dining room department monthly.
- Proficient in English, able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- 1-3 Years of experience in food service, hospitality, or senior living dining.
- Previous experience in a supervisory, lead server, or coordinator role preferred
- Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
