Banquet and Event Servers (Full and Part Time)

The Regatta Place is a harborside wedding venue located alongside of the Goat Island Marina. The Banquet and Event Server positions are seasonal: May - October. We have full and part time positions, depending on availability (20-40 hours per week). This is a great opportunity for both experienced servers and those just entering the workforce. Banquet & Event Server Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct guests
• Maintain a professional appearance (uniform shirts provided).
• Serve all food courses and beverage items to our guests; following department guidelines * experience welcome and/or training provided
• Clear tables following departmental procedures
• Open and serve wine/ champagne bottles when needed
• Ensure the successful operation of all scheduled functions by following professional guidelines. This includes proper timing for each course, menu knowledge, friendly demeanor, and the highest level of service possible.

Banquet & Event Server Qualifications:

• Be Courteous, Friendly, Professional and overall treat guests and coworkers respectfully.
• Be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests
• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds
• Must be able to work on your feet - 8 hours per shift.
• Focus and attention to detail.
• Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Must be able to work a variety of day/night/weekend and holiday shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 per hour
