Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Experience in fine dining settings is highly desirable. The bartender will be responsible for mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments accurately.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Ensure compliance with all local alcohol laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple customers promptly during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of customer service in various settings including fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or events.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in restaurant, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Experience in retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling are essential for accurate transactions.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively while serving multiple guests simultaneously.
