Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing bar operations. This role requires a strong knowledge of POS systems, food safety standards, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining settings is highly desirable. The bartender will be responsible for mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments accurately.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with all local alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple customers promptly during busy periods.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service in various settings including fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or events.

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a bartender in restaurant, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Experience in retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling are essential for accurate transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively while serving multiple guests simultaneously.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
