Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to assist with the maintenance department. The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates and ensures the planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Building Services Director to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day maintenance functions of assigned personnel.
• Assist in setting maintenance standards.
• Assist in standardizing the methods in which work is accomplished.
• Assist in developing procedures for performing daily maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with Nursing Services and other pertinent staff when performing maintenance assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Assist in scheduling work assignments, preparing work schedules, etc., Revises as necessary. Assure that work schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Perform administrative requirements (i.e., completing necessary forms, reports, etc.,) and submitting to the Director as necessary.
• Complete and submit accident/incident reports on the shift in which they occurred. Take corrective action to prevent accidents/incidents as needed.
• Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of supervising maintenance tasks.
• Maintain necessary records and documentation as pertaining to Maintenance Department.
