A reputable and well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in the Wakefield MA, area is seeking an experienced and dynamic Admissions Director to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare admissions, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build positive relationships with hospitals, referral sources, residents, and families.

Admissions Director Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from initial inquiry to resident move-in.
• Communicate effectively with hospitals, referral sources, residents, and families to facilitate a smooth transition of care.
• Maintain accurate census and referral data, ensuring timely and compliant documentation.
• Conduct facility tours and provide information about services and programs.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure admissions decisions align with resident needs and facility capabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships within the community and healthcare network.
• Assist in marketing and outreach initiatives to promote the facility’s programs and services.
  
  
  

Admissions Director Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare admissions, preferably in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance eligibility requirements.
