Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gear Cutter to join our precision machining team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating gear cutting machines to produce high-quality gears according to engineering specifications and production schedules.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gear Cutter to join our precision machining team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating gear cutting machines to produce high-quality gears according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate gear cutting machines such as hobbing, shaping, and broaching machines.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine gear specifications.
- Inspect finished gears using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gear cutting or precision machining.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CNC gear cutting equipment.
- Knowledge of gear types (spur, helical, bevel, etc.) and cutting techniques.
