Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support HVAC-related testing operations. This role involves hands-on work with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems to set up, operate, and tear down various tests including heat runs, psychrometric testing, and life cycle testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare HVAC units for testing, including wire harness assembly and component-level soldering.
- Mount units and program them for specific test protocols.
- Build and validate prototype circuit boards.
- Analyze and debug electronic circuits.
- Operate digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-train to support various tasks.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Entry-level familiarity with electronic circuits and components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Safety-conscious with experience working around electricity.
- Self-motivated, organized, and effective communicator.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Associate’s degree in Electronics or related field.
- Prior experience in HVAC, electronics, or electrical environments.
