The Employee Services Generalist provides day-to-day support across a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, policy interpretation, and HR operations. This role partners with managers and employees to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant HR practices while promoting a positive workplace culture. The Generalist also supports recruitment and onboarding activities as needed, assists with investigations, and contributes to HR initiatives and process improvement projects that strengthen employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
- Support or lead investigations related to employee concerns or policy violations.
- Guide on workplace issues, escalating as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Benefits & HR Operations
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries and escalate complex issues to vendors.
- Maintain HRIS data and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports, assist with audits, and support compliance documentation.
Policy & Process Support
- Assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
- Recommend and support process improvements that increase HR efficiency and compliance.
- At the senior level: lead policy reviews and process improvement projects.
Recruitment & Onboarding (Support Role)
- Partner with the recruitment team with overall support and/or onboarding tasks as needed.
- Provide backup support during onboarding to ensure seamless new hire integration.
HR Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Contribute to employee engagement and HR initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration.
- At the senior level: lead or co-lead HR projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation; coordinate stakeholders; mentor junior staff; collaborate with leadership on workforce strategies.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be up to $80,000 annually dependent on experience ; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Requirements:Education /Experience :
Required (Generalist Level):
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Working knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred (Senior Level Consideration):
- 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and compliance.
- HR certification strongly preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- Experience leading investigations, projects, or mentoring junior staff.
