Position Overview
The Financial Reporting and Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial reporting, compliance, and related analytical activities across multiple entities. Reporting to the CFO, this role supports company presidents and controllers with timely, accurate, and decision-useful monthly financial reporting. This position plays a key role in consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, borrowing base and compliance reporting, bank and government reporting, audit and tax support, and Board-level reporting and presentations.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in multi-entity reporting environments. This role requires strong financial statement knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to manage recurring reporting cycles while supporting ad hoc analysis and strategic finance needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and support the monthly financial consolidation and elimination process across multiple entities.
- Manage and support the intercompany settlement process to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of balances.
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, including:
- Income Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Statements of Cash Flows
- Prepare monthly divisional and departmental financial report books for management review.
- Support company presidents and controllers with monthly financial reporting, analysis, and commentary.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual bank and government reporting requirements.
- Prepare weekly borrowing base certificates and related compliance reporting to support lender requirements and ongoing covenant compliance.
- Prepare monthly Board reporting and support related financial analysis.
- Assist with quarterly Board presentation preparation, including supporting schedules, commentary, and presentation materials.
- Prepare and monitor capital expenditures reporting.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
- Support monthly reconciliation processes
- Support the annual external audit process by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to audit requests.
- Support annual income tax reporting by coordinating financial data, schedules, and related documentation.
- Manage and support transfer pricing processes, documentation, and related reporting requirements.
- Maintain the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of financial data across reports and supporting schedules.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance reporting quality, timeliness, and compliance.

We need this seat to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidations, corporate accounting, audit, or compliance-related finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
- Experience preparing management reporting packages and regulatory or lender reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong PowerPoint and financial presentation skills preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- CPA or CPA-track preferred.
- Experience in a multi-company or multi-division environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, reporting tools, and financial consolidation systems.
- Experience with Board reporting, audit support, tax support, transfer pricing, and borrowing base reporting.
