Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on individualized treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and/or clinic settings
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, skill acquisition, and treatment progress
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, toileting, grooming, and other self-care routines as needed
- Use positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to increase functional skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and clinical team members to promote consistency across environments
- Complete session notes daily and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Follow all safety protocols, ethical guidelines, and company policies
- Communicate the full picture, always — ensuring transparency and professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Active RBT credential or willingness to obtain certification (support provided)
- Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete)
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activity
- Clean background check
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or in special education
- Knowledge of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with HIPAA and medical documentation practices
